Carrier HH18HA509 Auto Limit Switch 155°F-195°F

The Carrier HH18HA509 is an automatic limit switch that can be found in many units of Carrier HVAC equipment. It plays the vital role of a thermostat since it shuts off the electrical circuit as soon as the temperature goes beyond a certain set point. This limit is usually set between 155°F and 195°F to avoid approaching the maximum temperature in a kitchen and causing damage to cooking equipment. This temperature rise will be detected by the limit switch and shut off the furnace to prevent it from further operation and to avoid costly damages and for safety purposes.
